United Steel workers at Whiting BP refinery to strike

WHITING, Ind. (WLS) -- United Steel workers at BP refineries in Whiting, Ind. say they'll go on strike Saturday night.

The union says its concerns include: unsafe staffing levels and employees working 12 hour shifts for weeks without a day off.

BP says its disappointed by the decision to strike, saying the company is committed to reaching an agreement. Workers in Toledo, Ohio, are also striking.
