2 men charged in Red Line robbery at Garfield station

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Two men are charged with robbing a man on the CTA Red Line.

Police said Joshua Shaw, 19, and Andre Jefferson, 18, asked a man at the Garfield stop to use his phone and refused to give it back.

Then, when the suspects and victim got onto the train, Jefferson implied he had a weapon, prompting the victim to hand over his wallet, investigators said.

Prosecutors said there was CTA video of the incident.
