Several arrested during Michigan Ave protests

Several protesters were arrested downtown after they blocked off part of Michigan Avenue during this evening's rush hour.

They're demanding the University of Chicago re-open its Medical Trauma Center, which closed in 1988.

Protesters say most South Side residents live far from any trauma centers, resulting in unnecessary deaths.

They rallied outside the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, where the University of Chicago was holding a fundraiser.
