2 escape fiery car after Dan Ryan crash

CHICAGO (WLS) -- One person was hospitalized after a fiery crash on the Dan Ryan Expressway, police said.

The accident happened near 71st Street early Sunday morning, police said. Two people managed to escape before flames engulfed the car. The hospitalized victim is expected to be OK.

Investigators have not released a cause or details of the crash.
