Body pulled from Des Plaines River ID'd as Chicago woman

RIVER FOREST, Ill. (WLS) -- Police have identified a body pulled from the Des Plaines River in River Forest as Christina N. Hill, 23, of Chicago.

Police said the woman's body was found Monday afternoon. Rescue crews had been searching the river for nearly 24 hours after a jogger spotted a car in the water on Sunday.

Police said it appeared the vehicle struck the guard rail and rolled over into the river.
