CHICAGO (WLS) -- Celebrities and fans will gather for the 17th annual Toast to Harry Caray, this year with a "Back to the Future" twist.
Michael Lantieri, the Academy Award-winning special effects director who created the DeLorean Time Machine for the film series, will attend the event, drawing on the film's prediction that the Cubs will win the World Series in 2015.
Harry Caray's Italian Steakhouse started the countdown four years ago, displaying the original Hover Board courtesy of Lantieri. For this year's toast, the Mr. Fusion Home Energy Reactor - the power source for the DeLorean Time Machine - will be on display.
The Volo Auto Museum's DeLorean Time Machine will also appear in front of the restaurant throughout the day. The museum has pledged to give away the legendary vehicle to a lucky museum attendee if the team wins the World Series in 2015.
In addition to the yearly toast to Caray, attendees will also toast "Mr. Cub" Ernie Banks, who passed away earlier this year. The toast will take place at the restaurant on March 12 at 6:30 p.m.
