Adler Planetarium cuts 15 employees

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago's Adler Planetarium has cut 15 full time employees.

Two astronomers are among those who lost their jobs. The vice president of business and marketing development says revenues and attendance are strong, but he says the planetarium has pension liabilities and significant construction debt.

The planetarium also cut about 8 percent of its staff in 2013.
