Gary Air Show to return in summer after 2 years

GARY, Ind. (WLS) -- The Gary Air Show will return in July two years after it was grounded by the federal budget sequester.

Gary mayor Karen Freeman-Wilson unveiled a new logo for the air show Tuesday. She told business and community leaders the show's return will be an economic shot in the arm for Gary.

The show will run July 11th through 12th at Marquette Park in Gary.
