GURNEE, Ill. (WLS) -- After several shoppers were sickened, police are now looking for a woman who they believe sprayed pepper spray inside a north suburban Walmart.

Police said several people had to be treated on Monday after they started coughing and having breathing problems while shopping at Gurnee Walmart.

Surveillance video from inside the store shows a woman motioning her arm as if she was spraying a chemical, according to police.

Police said the woman was wearing a white top with pink pants and white athletic shoes with colored laces. She had two male children with her. All three left in a dark-colored vehicle.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Gurnee Police Department at (847)599-7000.
