HINSDALE, Ill. (WLS) -- A Hinsdale South High School student has been arrested for allegedly bringing a broken BB gun to school, police said.

District 86 officials say the student was located and separated after another student reported that someone had brought a weapon to school Thursday morning. Police say the broken BB gun was found after a search of the student's belongings.
