CRYSTAL LAKE, Ill. (WLS) -- In the battle over bleachers that some say are too high, the Crystal Lake Planning and Zoning Commission is finally hearing both sides of the debate.
According to people living near Crystal Lake South High School, this should have happened before the bleachers went up a year and a half ago.
The school district has argued zoning rules didn't apply. The Illinois Supreme Court agreed in January to hear the case.
Now, the zoning commission is hearing proposals in an attempt to satisfy both sides.
