Help centers re-open for tornado victims

KIRKLAND, Ill. (WLS) -- Help centers are back open Thursday for people hit hardest by last week's deadly tornadoes in north central Illinois.

30 agencies have set up shop at Kirkland's First Lutheran Church offering help from mental health services to cash and gift cards.

Therapy dogs are also at the church, allowing survivors a chance to take a calming break from the recovery and rebuilding process.
