Police warn businesses of Northwest Side burglaries

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Police are warning business owners in Wicker Park, Bucktown, Humboldt Park and Logan Square after a series of burglaries.

Three burglaries have been reported on North Milwaukee Avenue and one on West North Avenue.

The thieves have entered businesses by smashing or prying open doors and drive thru windows.

The break-ins all happened after business hours. Business owners are urged to have alarms and surveillance equipment and to report any suspicious activity to police.
