CHICAGO (WLS) -- A South Shore Line train is stopped near 59th Street in the city's Hyde Park neighborhood due to mechanical problems, blocking three other Metra Electric trains from passing the area, Metra officials said.

Metra officials say trains operating near the area "may experience some delays" as the three Metra Electric trains are currently stopped near 51st Street. Trains #709 and #759 departing from downtown Chicago will pick up passengers from the affected Metra Electric trains, officials said. Train #759 will make additional stops from Harvey through Matteson.
