WEST CHICAGO, Ill. (WLS) -- A so-called "MacGyver bomb" exploded in the parking lot of a school in the suburbs Friday.
The improvised explosive in a plastic bottle went off outside Indiana Knoll School in unincorporated West Chicago.
Police searched the building and the entire grounds as a precaution.
No other devices were found and no one was hurt.
