Six Flags' Goliath tallest, fastest, steepest wooden coaster, Guinness says

GURNEE, Ill. (WLS) -- Adventure seekers can now check out the feel of a record-breaking roller coaster in the northern suburbs.

Guinness confirmed Saturday that Goliath at Six Flags Great America in Gurnee is the tallest, fastest and steepest wooden roller coaster in the world.

Saturday also marks the opening day for the amusement park, which is celebrating its 40th season.
