Nursing home workers protest Medicaid cuts in Loop rally

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Workers say 50 nursing homes across Illinois could close if Medicaid funding is cut. They held a rally in the Loop Tuesday urging lawmakers to hold the line on funding. They say the cuts next year could total more than $245 million.

The rally was one of several held around the state.
