CHICAGO (WLS) -- A man captured in Chicago accused in a revenge murder has been deported back to Mexico.
Carlos Cortez-Hernandez was detained by ICE officials back in January.
Officials in the Mexican state of Veracruz say he shot and killed a man in 2013 to avenge his father's death.
A judge ordered that he be deported to face charges in Mexico. Cortez-Hernandez was deported Thursday.
