PORTAGE, Mich. (WLS) -- Two people from the Chicago area died after a set of tires flew off a semi causing a crash in Michigan.

The crash happened Saturday afternoon on Interstate 94 in Portage, Mich. Police said the tires came loose and hit a car going the opposite direction, with three people inside.
