Snake knocks out power to 2,500 in IL

MILLSTADT, Ill. (WLS) -- A snake got into a breaker, knocking out power to thousands of customers in southern Illinois, according to Ameren Illinois.

Crews were able to restore power to 2,500 customers in Millstadt and Belleville within about three hours on Sunday night.
