CHICAGO (WLS) -- Fees may be going up to visit Chicago's Art Institute as the museum has asked the Chicago Park District to approve a $2 increase for all visitors.

That would raise the fee for people who live in Chicago to $20.

People who live in Illinois but outside Chicago would pay $22 to enter. The fee for out-of-state visitors would increase to $25.

The Art Institute says it needs additional revenue to cover wage increases and other costs.
