Police warn of suspicious incident in Lisle

LISLE, Ill. (WLS) -- Lisle police are warning residents after a 15-year-old girl says a suspicious person tried to lure her into his car.

The girl told police the incident happened as she was walking in the 4700-block of Main Street around 11:30 a.m. Thursday. She said the man asked if she needed a ride multiple times before driving off, police said.

The suspect is described as a white male in his mid-20s driving a gray four-door vehicle - possibly a Honda. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Lisle police at 630-271-4200.

The incident follows a June 5 arrest of another man suspected in an attempted abduction.
