INGLESIDE, Ill. (WLS) -- For 25 years, a camp in the suburbs has provided a place for children to have fun, build self-esteem and not be judged.

The kids at Camp I Am Me in northwest suburban Ingleside have all suffered burns. In addition to the typical summer camp activities such as crafts, games and climbing, there are activities that deal with their particular needs.

Donors cover the cost and many of those working at the camp are volunteers. It's organized by the Illinois Fire Safety Alliance.
