CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago firefighters battled a two-alarm blaze in a two-and-a-half-story building Tuesday afternoon in the Back of the Yards neighborhood. No injuries were reported, officials said.
Fire officials say the fire began in a building in the 4900-block of South Hermitage, then spread to the building to the north. Officials say no one was home at the time, and several pets including dogs and a lizard, were rescued. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
