FT. WAYNE, Ind. (WLS) -- Thousands are without power after a violent storm swept through Fort Wayne, Indiana, Saturday morning.

More than 600 separate outages have been reported.

Heavy rain and high winds also uprooted trees, which smashed several vehicles. Forecasters estimated wind gusts at nearly 70 miles an hour.

There have been no reports of any serious injuries.
