Lincoln Park Zoo hosts kit-stuffing event for needy students, homeless

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago's Lincoln Park Zoo hosted a day of what was described as "do-goodery and merrymaking."

Groupon and members from Citizen Schools Illinois assembled back-to-school kits for needy Chicago students and put together welcome home kits for women transitioning out of homeless shelters.

People also enjoyed free lunch and games.
