CHICAGO (WLS) -- Second graders at a Chicago elementary got a surprise Thursday from a White Sox legend.

Bo Jackson paid a special visit to the kids at Schmid Elementary with members of the Auburn University athletic staff.

The group made the trip from Alabama to thank the second graders for a presentation they made celebrating the school. The students' video was posted on Facebook and grabbed the attention of Jackson and Auburn officials

"Thank you for learning about my university. Our university. We are very impressed and you will be rewarded for learning about auburn."

Auburn mascot "Albie" also attended.
