All lanes of WB I-80 reopen at LaGrange Road after crash

MOKENA, Ill. (WLS) -- A crash closed all lanes of westbound I-80 just before LaGrange Road for about two hours Monday morning.

A black SUV was involved in an accident around 6:20 a.m. The driver was extricated from the vehicle, which sustained serious damage.

A medical chopper was dispatched to the scene and transported the victim to the hospital. There is no word yet on the driver's condition.

Westbound traffic was backed up about 10 miles at one point during the morning rush. A gapers delay impacted the eastbound side of I-80 as well.

All lanes of westbound I-80 were back open by around 8:20 a.m.
