Congresswoman Robin Kelly tours Roseland Hospital

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Roseland Hospital is described as a "vital institution" in the neighborhood, but some say state budget cuts put it at risk of closing.

On Friday, Congresswoman Robin Kelly took a tour of Roseland, both the hospital and the neighborhood.

One union leader said the hospital provides most of the jobs and healthcare services in the area.

Kelly says the people of Roseland deserve the hospital and amenities found in other Chicago neighborhoods.

One person said today that it seems, "Roseland has been left out of the equation."
