Brookfield Zoo free for children through Wednesday

BROOKFIELD, Ill. (WLS) -- Looking for something to do the next couple of days? You might want to head to the Brookfield Zoo!

Monday through Wednesday admission is free for kids under 11. The normal rates apply for adults and parking.

These are some of your last days to see two seasonal attractions that end Sept. 7 featuring birds and butterflies.

The zoo is open from 9:30 a.m. through 6 p.m.
