Emanuel announces new fleet of CTA buses

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Mayor Rahm Emanuel announced a new fleet of 125 CTA buses will be coming to Chicago soon.

The new buses have LED lighting, multiple security cameras and are fuel efficient. It's part of an ongoing effort to replace all 1,000 CTA buses.

The purchase still needs to be approved by the CTA board.
