'Nobody Quits like Chicago' anti-smoking campaign kicks off

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The week-long anti-smoking campaign, "Nobody Quits like Chicago," kicked off Monday. Events throughout the week aim to raise awareness about resources available to help Chicagoans quit smoking.

The Chicago Department of Health and other organizations like the American Lung Association plan events throughout the week, to help people kick the habit.

This is the second year the city has held the campaign. City officials say Chicago leads the nation in declining youth and adult smoking rate, with a decrease of 13.6 percent since 2011.
