Police search for suspect in Uptown PNC Bank robbery

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Police are searching for a suspect they say robbed a PNC Bank in the city's Uptown neighborhood.

Police said a man went into the bank, located in the 4400-block of North Broadway, around 11:02 a.m. and handed the teller a note demanding cash. The man then allegedly fled the scene after the teller gave him an unknown amount of cash.

The FBI in Chicago describes the suspect as a white man with blonde hair between 5-foot-11 and 6-foot-1 weighing around 200 pounds. He also has tattoos on his arms and was wearing a gray t-shirt during the alleged robbery.
