CHICAGO RIDGE, Ill. (WLS) -- A 16-year-old boy is in very serious condition after what police are calling a road rage incident involving two cars and three people in Chicago Ridge, officials said.

A fight broke out at 106th and Ridgeland in the parking lot of a liquor store Friday night, police said, prompting one vehicle to chase the other to a BP gas station down the street. The 16-year-old victim exited his car and allegedly jumped on the hood of the other car with a baseball bat, police said, and the car allegedly drove away with him still on the hood of the car.

He then fell off and suffered severe head injuries and was transported to a local hospital. He remains on life support.

Police say they believe he was the aggressor in the incident, but no other details have been released.
