AUSTIN, Texas (WLS) -- Beta blocker pills may help add years to women dealing with ovarian cancer.

The pills usually help deal with stress and lower blood pressure, but researchers at the University of Texas say when beta blocker pills are taken alongside chemotherapy treatments, they extended patients' lives by up to four years.

The study was specific to non-selective beta blockers, which block stress hormones.
