The Spongebob Music to make world premiere in Chicago

CHICAGO (WLS) -- From the small screen, to the big screen and now to the stage; The Spongebob Musical is coming to town.

The musical will make its world premiere at the Oriental Theatre in the summer of 2016.

It will feature music from some big names including Steven Tyler, John Legend, Lady Antebellum and David Bowie.

The Spongebob Musical will run June 7, 2016 through July 3, 2016.
