Man, 72, charged with child porn possession in West Chicago

WEST CHICAGO, Ill. (WLS) -- A 72-year-old man from West Chicago is accused of downloading and distributing child pornography.

James Borchering was taken into custody Wednesday afternoon after investigators served a search warrant at his home; officials say forensic examinations of his electronics revealed that he allegedly both downloaded and distributed child pornography.

Borchering is charged with four counts of child pornography possession. He appeared in bond court Thursday is being held in DuPage County Jail.
