A federal task force has announced its finding in an investigation of a controversial guard rail system.

Victims have blamed a version of the ET-Plus system for horrible injuries and deaths.

The task force says it analyzed dozens of real-world car crashes and found the system is not uniquely dangerous. While acknowledging all of these systems have some performance limitations, the ET-Plus was not singled out.

The group is not recommending any guardrails be pulled from highways.
