RIVER FOREST, Ill. (WLS) -- Neighbors on a block in the western suburbs hosted a massive lemonade stand Friday for a good cause.

Organizers said the charity "LemonAid" stand got its start in 2002 as response to the 9/11 attacks. Since then, the annual event in the 700-block of Bonnie Brae in River Forest has raised more than $140,000 for local children's charities.

Money raised from this year's event will support two charities: NAMI Metro Suburban and PACCTT.
