Boy, 9, missing from South Shore found safe

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A 9-year-old boy reported missing from Chicago's South Shore neighborhood was located safely.

The boy was last seen around 3:45 p.m. Monday, leaving Bouchet Elementary Math and Science Academy. He never made it home that afternoon.

Police said Tuesday morning that he returned home Monday night.
