Calif. iPhone shopper enlists robot

One iPhone shopper in California went hi-tech to snag a new phone on Friday.

A woman had a robot secure her place in line for the new phone at a store near San Francisco. The woman was at home nearly 500 miles away in San Diego.

Once the doors opened, she wheeled the robot into the store using her desktop keyboard.

The clerk easily found her money in the back of the robot and then hung the phone from a hook on the side.

The woman is having the phone shipped to her home.
