Calif. woman charged with stalking Gary woman

GARY, Ind. (WLS) -- A California woman is accused of stalking and harassing a Gary, Ind., woman over the last few months.

Judith Hairston was charged with five felony accounts of stalking.

The Gary Police Department said Hairston made several false phone calls to the police department.

The woman reportedly took a bus from California to Gary to confront a female member of the family.

The harassment reportedly started last month.
