CHICAGO (WLS) -- A charter bus carrying high school students from Champaign went up in flames on its way to Chicago.

About 50 miles into the trip, the driver says a low pressure light came on the dashboard. After pulling over on I-57, he saw smoke coming out of the engine.

The driver evacuated the bus shortly before it caught fire. Nobody was hurt.

The company said it sent a new bus to take the students the rest of the way to Chicago.
