CHICAGO (WLS) -- A Chicago hot dog stand is using its prominent sign along Clark Street to poke fun at President Donald Trump.

Since Sunday, the marquee at The Wieners Circle in Lincoln Park has read "Proudly Paris Accord Compliant Covfefe."

The first part of the message refers to Trump's withdrawal of the United States from the international climate agreement last week - and the restaurant's plan to comply with it regardless of Trump's decision.

The message signs off with "covfefe," an apparent typo that appeared on Trump's Twitter account and triggered an internet frenzy last week.

Wiener's Circle employees said their marketing manager came up with the message and that it wasn't the first time the restaurant has delved into political messages.

Employees said they had noticed people stopping by to take pictures, but had not received any complaints.
