CHICAGO (WLS) -- Three Chicago police officers are fighting back against a new policy that requires officers to cover their tattoos.

The Chicago Tribune reports a federal lawsuit was filed by those officers. They say they served in the military and have tattoos on their arms as a result.

Officers were told in June that tattoos and body brandings cannot be visible while on duty.
