CPD issues armed robbery alert for Lincoln Park

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A warning tonight for residents on Chicago's North Side after two people were robbed at gunpoint.

One incident was Wednesday, Jan. 13, in the 2200-block of North Burling. The other happened Friday, Jan. 15, in the 1100-block of West Dickens.

Police say in each robbery two or three people approached a person on the street, showed a silver handgun and demanded items. In one incident the suspects wore black masks.
