CTA Red Line service restored after woman falls on tracks near Lake

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Service is back to normal on the CTA Red Line after a woman fell on the tracks Wednesday morning.

The incident happened as a northbound train was approaching the Lake station around noon, police said. The woman was was hospitalized in serious condition and the train conductor, who was shaken up by the incident, was also hospitalized.

Officials have not released any other details.
