Delivery drivers robbed at gunpoint in Roseland, police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Police are searching for suspects in connection with a series of armed robberies of delivery drivers in the city's Roseland neighborhood.

Police say in these incidents, the offenders allegedly ordered food to be delivered to the 10700-block of S. Perry/Lafayette and confronted the drivers with a long barrel shotgun, demanding the food and money.

Incidents were reported on the following dates:

  • Dec. 7, 10700-block of South Perry
  • Dec. 8, 10700-block of South Lafayette
  • Dec. 9, 0-100-block of West 107th St.

The suspects are described as two or three African American men between the ages of 20 and 25 wearing hooded sweatshirts. Anyone with information on the suspects is encouraged to contact Chicago police at 312-747-8273.
