YORKVILLE, Ill. (WLS) -- A west suburban doctor accused of sexually assaulting several patients is found not guilty in one case, but he is not a free man.

A judge delivered the verdict in the first trial of Dr. Haohua Yang.

The doctor is accused of inappropriately touching at least 17 women at his practices in Yorkville and Naperville.

Yang still must face trial for 16 of those cases and he is being held without bail in the Kendall County Jail.

Yang operated the Yorkville Medical Center in Yorkville.

Investigators said the assaults took place between 2012 and 2014. According to court documents, the internist is accused of inappropriately touching or fondling the victims -- all adult female patients -- during medical examinations at his clinic in Yorkville.
