CHICAGO (WLS) -- A vacant home was found filled with abandoned cats in Chicago's Belmont Central neighborhood Sunday.

Neighbors called Animal Control after noticing all the black cats in the 6200-block of Roscoe Street. Thirty cats were removed, but neighbors guess there are another 30 still inside. They are worried there are so many that the city won't be able to rescue them all.

"We're a group of neighbors who are concerned about the reaction of the city to take care of this problem," said Barbara Korus.

Animal Control will be back at the house Monday recovering more animals. The home has been deemed unlivable since it was covered in animal feces and urine.
